SkiKitInfo was created for you.

Having the right kit can make a world of difference to how much you enjoy your time on snow. It doesn’t matter if you’re taking your first tentative turns or aiming to win the Pierra Menta; the kit you use can make or break your time in the mountains.

We’ve tested thousands of skis, boots, bindings, skins, poles, goggles, helmets, gloves, jackets, thermals, socks, neck gaiters…… amassing a wealth of experience in selecting kit for people. We’re here to help you make great ski kit decisions.

There is no such thing as ‘the best ski’ or ‘the best boot’

The best ski for you may be quite different to the best ski for your closest friend. You may do the same skiing, be built alike and ski in a similar way, but you’re unique. Your kit choices should therefore be about you as an individual.

To see the awesome developments, latest kit and satisfy your need for all that’s shiny, head over to Info, Tests & Reviews.

We’ve made a load of videos for you, so why not Subscribe to the SkiKitInfo.com YouTube channel to see the killer kit that’s out there. There’s a host of kit test videos, it’s definitely worth a visit.

We want to give you market-leading information, provided by the ski industry’s premier experts, so you can have total confidence in your kit selection decisions.

Our tagline:

Ski kit info, tests & reviews to help you choose

That sums it up, really.

However, to have confidence in the info we compose you need to know it comes from an independent source. A lot of media, in all walks of life, gets paid by a brand to write a review. This is prevalent in snowsports too. We don’t work like that and never have. We do get loaned kit by the brands to test, then we give the kit back. It normally costs us a lot to get the kit back to them too – shipping is not cheap.

Sometimes they don’t want the kit back after testing (would you want socks back after we’ve been touring in them for five days?). That’s all part of testing gear, but it is never allowed to impact what we tell you about the product. No fluff, no bull, and no paid-for reviews; we want you to feel you can rely on SkiKitInfo.

We treat you like we would like to be treated; as passionate skiers, with integrity and a desire to be told the truth.

Prefer to listen, rather than watch or read? No problemo – SkiKitInfo brings expert ski kit advice to the ears of ski fans, as a regular feature on The Ski Podcast.

We’re updating the info all the time and adding more posts, so if you’re looking for info about a particular piece of ski and it’s not there, then give us a shout and we can get it up there sooner.

Happy skiing, whenever you manage to get into the mountains.
